Thoracic disc herniation and degenerative disc disease
Disc herniation, or bulges, and "degenerative disc disease" are relatively commonly found on images such as X-rays, C.T. scan, ultra-sound or MRI. But only rarely do they cause symptoms such as pain. So it is often coincidental that a herniation is found in the same location as thoracic pain.
Symptoms associated with disc herniation and degenerative disc disease as a rule resolve by addressing soft tissue pathology and joint dysfunction.
